‘BIBC NEWS’ – 2019 January

Welcome to this edition of your Club Newsletter. May I start by wishing all our members and visitors a Happy and peaceful New YearCancelled Matches: You will have possibly noticed the list of cancelled or postponed games up in the Reception. Hopefully, most of these will be played soon. Cancelled games cost the Club a lot of money - last year over £5k was lost in this way – and some members wonder why we increase rink fees.

LED Lights: We know that there are some bulbs flickering on the bottom green but we are trying to hold off until the new LED lights are installed, hopefully next month.

Query: I am still looking for a response to my query from last month regarding the time when skips leave the head going to the mat.

Once more, a reminder that NO tracksuit bottoms are permitted during league games. Predominantly white shirts with collars are the preferred option.

Male members are asked not to leave any material on top of the lockers.
