Welcome to the February edition of your Club Newsletter.
Firstly: many congratulations to our winners in the recent Irish Championships:
Irish Singles Winner: John McCullough.
Irish Pairs Winners: David Nixon and Michael Merritt
Irish Fours Winners: Paul Prunty, Jim McGettrick, Roy Battersby, Paul McEwan.
Irish Singles U25 Winner: Chloe Watson.
Irish Triples Winners: Chloe Watson, Cliodhna Eadie, Sandra Bailie.

Well done to all of the above, and good luck to them in the British Championships.
It was suggested to me that we recognise those who achieve an ‘eight’ in bowls, so here are the first recipients: no prizes but recognition!

LATE NEWS: PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY VALUABLES, ESPECIALLY CAR KEYS, IN THE LOCKER ROOMS. TWO SETS WENT MISSING RECENTLY - BE AWARE!
QUIZ NIGHT: the Ladies section is having a Table Quiz on Friday 31st January to support the BIBC members of the Irish Team. There is a magnificent alcoholic hamper up for grabs in the Foyer, and there is a second hamper kindly donated by Johnson’s Coffee – tickets are already being snapped up.
ADVANCE NOTICE: this year the Club Dinner will be on Saturday March 22nd . Tickets and menu will on sale shortly.
CLUB FINALS: this year will be held on Saturday 1st March and Sunday 2nd March. Cups for winners will be presented at the Dinner.
CLUB’S 3 BOWL PAIRS COMPETITION: March 29th and 30th - £500 to the winners!
Reminder to all members: if you are named in a rink you cannot sub for another rink in the same league.
